septic tank pump replacements

Thanks to george v and tryval for replying quickly.  I've run an extension lead to the pump socket  to bypass the feed in case the supply cable is damaged but the pump still trips out.  I'll give Nigel Quinn a call as you both suggest and see if he can help.  Thanks again.

Had the similar problem, but it proved to be 'snails' getting into the outdoor socket for the pump supply!

Second the suggestion re Nigel if you don,t solve it yourself.

First check that the cabling is not causing the problem.  For example is it underwater. where the plug from the pump connects to the socket from the house.  If it is not connection then probably the pump.  Give Nigel Quinn a ring on 0687471337.  He lives near to you.
