Thanks bartyb for the helpful instructions.  I tried but did not work.  Contacted orange and they asked me to run a test and did not work so they have made me a phone appointment with one of their technical staff for this afternoon.  Lets hope we can get it sorted soon.

TNTsat boxes need a card that has to be renewed every 4 years, Orange boxes use a card but if/when that needs to be replaced it should be done by Orange.

I'm guessing  that you have the Orange system that is connected to both a dish and the livebox. Sounds to me like one of the normal satellite problems, so check the cable connection and that nothing has grown up in the dish's "line of sight". Disconnect the power to the TV box, count to 20 and reconnect. Do a factory reset on the box and reinstall.......... if none of that works speak to Orange but my guess is that they'll tell you to first get an engineer to check the dish.
