Dave does NOT do lopping. It is a not a practice for any reliable tree surgeon, Steer clear of anyone who offers it; Branch reduction, crown lift or crown pruning, yes. Lopping definitely not.

Pollarding CAN be done on young trees and old pollards, but after they reach maturity, it is TOO risky and will kill the tree in the long run.
Yes, I know the farmers do it. We don't.

Definitely go with Dave. Really good guy, very professional and can tackle the awkward SOB's that some will avoid.
