What roses are they?

You may possibly be referring to the pink roses called Emera.  The other colours have different names but you will find them together in the 'couvre-sol' section of most garden centres.

They grow very quickly, need  no pruning, flower all summer and need only dead-heading.  However you may cut them (with shears even!) to the shape you wish.  Although called 'ground cover' they can grow to well over a metre and a half high and make good hedging.

In the UK, many years ago, I used to buy Flower Carpet roses which are very similar.

Nothing like that written on the packaging or near the roses displayed.
