Muzzle has never even been mentioned in several years travel.

Sod's law will surely apply, so if you have one, it will never be needed.

Hi,

Carry one in the car.  We have never been forced to use it.  Especially since all of the microchip scanning is done at the vehicle check-in gate; they hand you the scanner.

Easy peasy,

We had an ancient toothless border terrier and carried a muzzle (as well as the dog) and no-one said anything.  Best to have one to put on if necessary, I think the one we had was given to us by Brittany Ferries which was kind of them, completely the wrong size though!

Best have one in the glove compartment just in case. We've never been asked to muzzle the dog, but he looks very friendly. If you are asked to and you don't have a muzzle you'll be stuck.
