thank you Crackeroo for that info. The noise the wind turbine makes is a good indicater that it is going to rain as the moisture in the air makes it whistle and the engineer told us that it had been struck by lightening and had had a chunk torn out of one of its blades. The other noisey turbine sounds like it has nails inside the blade., sounds much like my Dad's old banger car ( oh memories), looking forward to hearing the engineers explanation about that noise!

The distance is 500 metres.... there was recently a debate whether to bring this to 1,000 metres but it was defeated. It's not that big a distance, is it!
