check online at cdiscount.com or ruedecommerce.com  good deals to be done, also look for the ODR (offre de remboursement) I just bought a new one and got it delivered the next day for free :)

also Leclerc in Pontivy has a seperate espace culturel and got a good selection available.

If you end up buying the camera in France, don't worry about the iinstructions being in France, you will be able to find them on line In English or any other language you might need.

Absolutely, just saying as usual that it pays to shop around and that with a complicated camera the manual language can be important. (For this oldie anyway!)

Tertraie, they can also be more expensive in the UK.

Nikon Coolpix p610 349€ (£253) at Carrefour

£265 at PC World

That's comparing retail to retail, I have seen the camera on-line at Pricemiester for 260€

Yes, a good selection but at a price. It can be a lot cheaper to get from UK and you get a manual in English which can be important if the usage is not intuitive.

example.  a 6D Canon here 1,699€ (Boulanger Vannes) though at the moment there is a 150€ cashback deal. Same thing in UK €875 or around 1,100€. (HDEW cameras)
