Mr Bricolage in Pontivy sell them, if the have any in stock currently that is, and be advised, most shops like such are about to carry out  their annual stock taking, usually in November. They are going to be expensive however.

If you go on the Leroy merlin website - they sell 4 types of contreplaque marine. They may have been out of stock when you looked.    It may be cheaper in the UK looking at old posts about the subject (or perhaps not with the rate of exchange).   We bought some I think from bricodepot or bricomarche several years ago (but not for boatbuilding)..

 Good luck in  your quest

Thanks for your reply. I've already looked in Leroy Merlin and they have 2440 x 1220 sheets of ply, but it's not marine ply. It's suitable for internal building use, but the thinner sheets are only 3-ply (2 thin outer veneers and some sort of thick conglomerate in the middle). Not strong enough for boat-building, I'm afraid!
