Good try thank you, but we are in Portsmouth and have to get to Caen.  Anyone else have any ideas please?  Time is now getting short.  Thank you.avonlady

I travel by Speedferries.com, and pay £25 each way (Yes for a car an up to 5).  I have travelled 3 times and have 2 more trips booked. It is not convenient for all as it is Dover-Boulogne, and quite a long drive from Normandie.  But it is the same overall time travelling, and sooo cheap.  Dates amendable too.  Support speedferries!, they are still not at all full even in the peak season, and I fear we would miss them.
