Hodgey,

So is this an ongoing search, or is there a happy ending?????

Live for today, tomorrow might never come!

We used Bagnoles immobilier too, Christian was really good, but doesn't speak any English (or says he doesn't).

Bagnoles is a lovely town & it's a very pretty area (but then I'm biased!).

If you need help translating there, give me a shout (free of course!).

Hi Ian,

Thanks very much for your information.  We will be contacting these people.  We are planning a trip over soon. Hopefully they will be able to help us.  I hope you will be very happy with your new property.  Do you have any children? What will you be doing to pay the bills as they say?

I will let you know what happens.

Regards

Karen

Hi Karen,

I have recently completed the purchase of my property in St James Manche, I used an English agent based in Le Ferre near St James. I found them to be very helpfull and in fact they are still prepared to help where they can after completion. Give them a call.

Here is the contact info, good luck Ian

Try Bagnoles Immobilier.  They are really helpful.  Bagnoles de l'Orne is in the southern Orne (on the borders of the Mayenne) and it is a real tourist town so may well be what you are looking for to supprt a B & B .....Good luck!

You could try Cabinet Marc Trouverie in Vire, he actually has english members of staff.

Or Richard at Vire Immobilier by the Round a bout in the centre of town.

Happy hunting!!!

Sorry to tell you, but you ought to know that there is already an English family running a fishing lake and trout farm near Lisieux.

I am in the Calvados, and if you are looking around here, could interpret for you, if you like. No charge - just like meeting new people.
