You won't pass the CT!

Call your insurance company, check if you are covered for "Bris de Glace", then call Carglass and have it reparied. They even come to your house or office location, if you can't go to a Carglass Centre. I had my windscreen repaired within 48 hours.

Your best bet is to take the car to your nearest Controle Technique centre. Show them the windscreen and ask them if it is a failure. They should know well what they test for. Most insurance policies today cover windscreen cracks, often with a low excess. Actually, with a crack that evident (6 cms across), it would be prudent to have a new windscreen in case it shatters when you are driving. Good luck.
