Colinc is right.  And Riviera Insuarnace's parent company is based in Monaco, so no worries there. They do all types of insurance, their motor insurance is with French insurance companies (all above board and perfectly legal, btw) but they take all the hassle out of it for you and their prices are very competitive.  Speak to Kathy on 04.93.12.36.12, she'll sort you out. (Don't be put off by their 'phone system which immediately plays a recording instead of the usual ringing tone).

Talk to Riviera Insurance in Valbonne. They can advise you and the staff there speak English.
