Nope. No joke.

Spot on. Full marks except for the 'you' part.

Oh, and the "road worthy" part from my original post is not applicable. Shredded would not be good, but road worthy would be impossible, so lets go with the same description I use for myself: outwardly presentable.

But they do have to be the originals. Reproductions, just-likes, same types, etc, won't do. We are not talking about balanced minds wanting these, you understand.

This Carrera Speedster GT is listed in the 356 Registry database  ............ and Continental Super record tires.

Had me thinking too.   5.90 refers to a cross-ply tyre, I guess it is in inches, about 150mm.  The Porshe 356 Carrera used 5.90/15 tyres.

I cant see any tyres from from the 70's being any good any more, but a google on "oldtimer reifen" throws a number of German specialists, who provide modern tyres in that size e.g.

As a matter of interest .... why are you looking for these tyres?  I can only guess that you are restoring an elderly car or two and want the original equipment tyres!
