It depends on your location - on top of a hill in line with the transmitter it might be ok.  Test it by buying 25m of cable and rigging it up in the attic.  If not, you could fix it on a post which screws onto an exterior wall of the house but sits above the roofline.

Most sensibly, get a pro to fit it if it requires rooftop skills!

Be careful!

The tiles on our roof are not fixed,and when my husband got on the roof he had problems comming down as the tiles started to move so he couldn't get a grip.

Apparantly, you take the tiles off and put them back as you descend.
