As 'Wick' says on Provence AI, dont panic just yet. It is to do with satelite shifts and we may still be in the narroer beam to be used.

Forwarned is forearmed but wait and see what happens.

I hope this is not the thin edge of the wedge for the BBC gradually reducing their pan-European signal for the TV stations.  The red button changes affect their whole network - including the UK.  I assume they were waiting to get the Olympics out of the way before announcing this as their red button alternative coverage was excellent.  It will really impact on their Wimbledon coverage where, for the last few years, there has been a choice of 4/5 different matches.  Tant pis.

All is not lost if for those of you who rely on BBC radio here - it will still be available via the internet.

I, for on, can not imagnie life without Radio 4 and Radio 4 extra.

Good job we have decided to move back to Blighty!

Thanks for the heads up.
