Have you thought about hiring a cook/chef for the day. It could work out cheaper.

I seem to remember (perhaps incorrectly) that Le Relais de Coches in Tourettes sur Loup advertised Christmas dinner last year?

A tall order indeed!  Some things just can't be done on the CDA.  For turkey & all the trimmings, brussel sprouts, bread sauce, and Christmas pudding, book a flight to Yorkshire.  For a non-smoking restaurant, book a flight to New York; for a Vegetarian restaurant, try L.A.....

On the other hand, if you're after genuinely local provençale cuisine and atmosphere, the Brulot in Antibes has been recommended many times here before now as good value for money - have a look here: http://www.brulot.com.  Note that they do a special set menu on New Year's Eve (la Saint Sylvestre) rather than on Christmas day itself - you'll find that with quite a few restaurants here.

For the vegetarian(s) just ask them to supply a plate of assorted vegetables (can be scrumptious, actually) or consider their nearby (and cheaper) sister-restaurant, the Brulot-pasta. Children are made welcome in most French restaurants (and even more so in Italy!).

Hope this helps (even though the French would say it's ridiculously early to start talking about Christmas just yet - witness the date the Brulot's 2003 St.Sylvestre menu was first published = 29th October and not yet removed ! :-)
