We think the best viewing place is stand K, but is I think the most expensive. As well as a commanding view, depending where you are in the stand, from the exit of the tunnel to the swimming pool, you can also see the big TV scren which is vital so you can follow the race. Also, catch an early train - they get v. crowded and buy a ticket. You will be checked at Monaco. Take binoculars, acushion as seats hard, ear defenders, hat/cream for sun, and waterproffs if raining, as you may have to sit in 2 plus hours of rain. Black bin liners very useful. Umbrellas not allowed once race starts. Allow to mooch around for an hour or 2 after as trains and station too crowded directly after race. Have fun.
