If you are driving, go the Italy route mentioned by Legend in my lunchtime as the French route takes alot longer ... we discovered the hard way! Be prepared for high tolls en route - we paid around 70 euros in tolls one way!

recommended route is through Italy - Genoa, Torino, Aosta, Rivoli, then back into France through the Fréjus Tunnel, then Chambéry, Albertville etc.

about 5 hours and 500km.

Plot it yourself for free on www.mappy.com

You can take the train to Moutiers. Then a bus or taxi to Courchevel.

Hope this helps.
