Can anyone say if for acceptance into the Primaire of the CIV:

The place of residence or only the test results important in the admission for the primaire? Which is more important? It says on their website that children residing in "Cannes, Le Cannet, Theoule ou Mandelieu, sont prioritaires, ensuite les enfants dont les parents travaillent dans ces communes." What about Vallauris? It is closer then Theoule, Le Cannet, Mandelieu by far..

What do the tests for the primaire level consist of? Is it easier for a child to be accepted if he has been in the Maternelle of the ASEICA?

Thank you very much for sharing!!

There is an international primary school at Haut Sartoux (Sophia) and a 'sister' school at Mougins le Haut in which ASEICA provide part of the curriculum in English. There is a wealth of information on their website www.aseica.org where you can find out about enrolment, fees etc.I don't think there is a maternelle, although I'm sure being French mainstream schools that they might have maternelles close by. It might help giving ASEICA a call to see if they can offer any advice.
