Hi Sofie

I just used Currency Fair and found it outstanding. After 10 years of banking in France and getting regularly robbed on exchanges, what a breath of fresh air.

The process is simple, rates are great, charges are super low and the magic bit is that I could control when the exchange happened to the minute. I had a customer service question and received an email reply after 23:00 from an associate director - if only my French bank could operate this efficiently!

If you want to regularly transfer money in different currencies, this seems the most transparent method available.

Thanks frenchferg. They showing a rate of 1.2161 for Stg to Euro when mid market is 1.2210 , and a £3 transfer fee!

Did some other searches and found a lot of positive feedback.

Will be giving them a try. They are regulated, and keep your money ringfenced.

I used Currency Fair (based in Dublin) to exchange euros for sterling when I sold my apartment in Antibes. It was very simple - I got a good rate using their peer to peer system - and I would use them again.
