I give French and English lessons and I accept the CESU - Chèque emploi service universel - which gives the student a deduction of  50% of the total amount of the lessons declared on their tax declaration.  The money I get is fully declared, and everything is done by the CESU people.  Ask your banque on how to register, then you can declare by Internet and you'll get your 50% reductions direct on your tax declaration.  All this system has been implemented a few years ago to avoid all sort of "grey" work - travail au noir.

Bonne chance!
