I don't know anything about France/Monaco treaties - but as a French resident and taxpayer able to produce five or more years of avis d'imposition then technically I believe you should have the same social security rights as any other permanent resident of France, i.e. the extent your entitlements will depend on your past employment/cotisations. So if you have worked continuously I imagine you are entitled to benefits. However, only CPAM can give you a definitive answer as to what they are prepared to give you and there may well be forms to fill in and documents to produce and hoops to jump through before they will do so, so start applying in good time!

As I have understood things your rights accrued in another EU country (which I presume monaco can be couted as but wouldnt bet on it) give you rights in the new EU country for this sort of thing but if in doubt phone the secu, someone here will give you an english phone line number Im sure
