As a Brit in Nice I really miss the Coffee Republic style coffee bars. Is there anywhere like this on the cote d´Azur, or must I continue to suffer? Thanks for your help Ed.

Try upstairs in the Nice Virgin Megastore on Jean Medcin. Tres tendence...

If you really insist on the 'Coffee Republic' style experience here on the CdA, I also suggest that you try the Bar de la Degustation in Vieux Nice - it's a slightly acquired taste, but it may do you good.

Let me know if you're brave enough to give it a shot and I'll post the location - for those who don't already know it ;-)

You could also try Cafe Pit in Antibes - they do a good cappuccino, latte etc. It's just after the covered market on the right had side heading away from the port. And they usually have the day's newspapers (French) and a few magazines, some in English if you're lucky!Fiona

Not sure what Coffee Republic is but if it is along the same lines as Starbucks then try the cafe upstairs in Fnac, rue d Antibes in Cannes. They do Colombus coffee, lattes, SF steamers, etc, etc. Much better than Starbucks for what its worth.
