'Lou Fassum' near Grasse has excellent views across the landscape, particularly it the weather is nice enough to eat outside. The food is worth going for as well!

The Chateau in Cabris is always very good. No views from within the restaurant, but all around when you walk around Cabris and as you drive there.

Many thanks for your ideas. Any more greatfully received. In particular anything with a stunning view.

Hi there, we love the restaurant l'ecole des filles in bar sur loup 0493094020, very good value, excellent cooking great surroundings.Yesterday we ate a terrine of oxtail and fresh chevres on blettes and artichokes. The mains were a bolognaise of lobster and piedmont risotto or pintade on a celeriac mash. There is only a choice of two dishes for each course. We always order one of each and scrupulously eat half(and no more!) then swap plates. My husband has been known to order a starter, a main, then another starter instead of sDesert! For a real WOW factor if Frances in Valbonne was doing a supper club that would be a highly original evening AND great food.

There is a great restaurant in Le Suquet, Cannes called Les Salon Des Independants. Its not Wow to look at but the food is good, its great value and the whole experience is definitely out of the ordinary!
