thanks for all the replies...finally found it in a BIO store... perfect.. as the non-bio commercial ones had loads of extra stuff that i didnt need.

i'm looking for the plain stuff... not the one with sausages etc. which i think is called "choucroute garnie"...thanks for the tips.. i'll try the intermarche in menton..did you say that they have it without the sausages?

I've also seen the version in packages with meat & sausages in Carrefour Market in Opio.

Try the big Intermarché near the A8 in Menton, they usually have it in packages sometimes incl. the meat/sausages.

We buy it in Casino in the section with Halal, Kosher etc foods. Comes in a big jar, tastes good and if you refrigerate it in the jar, you can use only what you need.
