You can also go see Actis, the most famous oganic farmer in the region.  He only comes to town once a week, on Saturday mornings, and has his stand on the last corner, left hand side, going up Jean Medecin, just before reaching Place de la Libération.

His father was an organic farmer before him...  Prices are equivalent to prices for 'ordinary' veggies, so for organic that means very reasonable.

A word of warning, be there as early as possible (he arrives around 7) as by 9 am there is usually nothing left...

Just ask for Actis, a very tall bearded man, and you will see his logo -Nature & Progrès- which is 100% organic, as opposed to 70% organic for AB.

If you like honey, his is wonderful (and he doesn't mistreat his bees like many commercial/industrial beekeepers).

Tell him 'hi' from me!

Hi Doug

Beaulieu has regular Bio markets (every Sunday, I think) next one Sunday 9 March at Place Marinoni, open all day. I don't know what the quality is like, but if all else fails...
