Hi Noel,

I've just, this morning, e-mailed you from our website.

But for anyone considering writing a will, if you have interests in both France and UK you should make a will for each country, written in conjunction with each other to ensure that they do not conflict with each other.

Please take legal advice in both countries.

Kind Regards

Carole

For inheritance etc. it is definitely worthwhile getting financial advice & we see that Rachael's already given you a lead there.

Regarding wills - these are not drawn up by private solicitors or executors as they are in England for example.  You are responsible for HANDwriting your own will.  A "notaire" will endorse it as authentic and register it for you.

Obviously if you take financial advice first, then you will have a better idea of what points to cover in your will.

For a little more info see here.
