CreepOid, that is untrue, even though plenty of UK accountants will tell you the opposite. I believe that Admin or Mike posted something about this a few days or weeks ago...The law is clear. All work done on French territory must be declared from the first hour of work (even if done through an overseas company) and French taxes, charges and social conditions apply.There's been a crackdown in Brittany (8 UK builders arrested and dozens fined, I'm told by my English doctor who has a house there). It'll no doubt happen here one day.

If you are a contractor here, but being paid through a management company in the UK, the French authorities class you as non-actif, so you don't have to pay anything here.
