Sir Lurk,

Sorry, I have only bought it from Brittany based companies - i suggest you try the big tile clearance warehouses (you must have some?) or ask a commercial tiling company as they often buy it by the pallet and the margin is huge (like tile adhesive)

StG,

That'll be the latex based one then?

I buy Hempels self levelling compound purchased off the Internet - its the same stuff they use of the Cross channel Ferries to take up on the welding seams in the canteens !stgeorge

lespalmiers,

What trade suppliers would you recommend? (for buying cheaper self-levelling compound, I assume that's what you were referring to)

Ciratis,

If you havn't done it before - very!

a)   to make it stick to the existing floor

b)   to get it any flatter than what you had to start off with.

You can get self levelling compound - but you have to put it on very wet and it can be expensive - depending on the area you have- this could be the only DIY solution however . . . . . . . . .

p.s. try buying it from a trade supplier - it will be lots cheaper
