oh..thanks..back to work then...4 pounds...i paid 2 pounds for it 1987 and 2 pounds then is now more then likely worth more then 4 pounds today..

what a con?

If you mean the Christmas 1987 card with Regent Street showing off its lights then:

It wasn't actually the first BT picture phonecard (the 1987 Muirfield Golf set preceded it in the commemorative series, while there were also advertising cards for Graham's Black Bottle Whisky and Mentadent P), although it was the first card manufactured in serious quantity.This dealer has it (BTC004) priced at £4.00 in mint condition, which is probably representative of the higher end of the market proce (e-Bay proces are roughly half that). The fact that it was produced in relatively large quantities (100,000) means it si less rare than you might think.**************
