You can also try Kelkoo - www.kelkoo.co.uk.  Just type in the dates etc and it will come up with all the alternatives available.

It is possible to do this for around 350 Euros via Madrid on scheduled flights. The trick is to book both parts separately

Try www.ebookers.es

You should be able to get the Domestic leg for 150 Euros with air Europa leaving at 07.05 and arriving at 08.05. There's a connection with Spanair to Nice for 200 Euros at 09.50.  comming back   You catch the 06.50 flight to Madrid arriving at 08.36. The final return leg is 14.20. Alternatively you can leave at 23 something, save 15 Euros and spend a very long day in Madrid. The Metro is good from the airport and you could take a look at the Goyas in the Prado or something.

For a little more you could go via Barcelona (BCN) instead which goves you shorter connection times.

You may need to recheck in and these connections will not be guaranteed

The lowest published fare on scheduled flights excl. taxes for those dates is EUR 205.  However as the flights around these dates are really busy,  there is nothing available on scheduled flights for less than about 740 excl. taxes.

You can do it on Virgin Express via Brussels for 510 including taxes.  Lousy airline but that might be the best you'll find.  You should be able to book it on their website.

The lo-cost airlines that serve both Malaga and Nice are Transavia(via Amsterdam) and EasyJet(via Liverpool, Stansted, Luton, Gatwick) but the prices are pretty high already (290€ one way).
