well as you can post to AI you obviouly have a web browser, so you can also pay your FT bill by browsing to "votre espace client".  Caveat:  To activate your web account you will need to know your latest bill amount.

Basically I just need to pay my phone bill which was due a few days ago (just got back from holiday); usually I do it by dialling 3000 and then entering my UK Visa card details, but I'm not in France at the moment so I can't do that. I called them yesterday to explain, but after being placed on hold for 10 or 15 minutes the line went dead, and seeing as it's costing me about 1 euro per minute to make calls on my mobile while I'm not in France, I don't want to call them again only for the same thing to happen.

3000 cannot be reached from outside France..

What 3000 service are you trying to access?  Most can be accessed through the web on "Votre espace client"
