Does anyone have the facility to convert cassette tapes to CDs? This is very important as I cannot get the music elsewhere and will need to perform to it.

In return I will chuck in 2 free bottles of wine and a christmas smile!?

If the cassette player has Line Out sockets then you'd be better going in to the PC via Line In. If you're having to go from a headphone out to a mic in you need to be very careful about distortion.

If you have a computer its pretty easy:

Plug your analog source (tape deck) into the microphone in connection, then use one of many programs (do you have Real One player?) to record this to the hard disk, then burn to CD.

If you dont have Real One there are many free softare apps online that will capture (record) an analog source.

Hope this helps.
