Hi
There are 2 trains early morning direct to Nice, 1 train mid morning & another one in the early evening. Look on the SNCF website for the exact times. It's the same comimng back, only about 4 direct trains each day. So if your business in Nice doesn't fit in with those times you can either drive to Menton, park well before you get to the bus station, where it's free (or catch the bus from Sospel to Menton Gare routier) & then get the train from Menton to Nice, they are every half hour & early in the morning there are some extra ones.
Failing that, you can drive to Pont St Michel at La Trinite or to Nice Nord and pick up the tram (free parking in the shade if you buy a return tram ticket cost 2€)

Hope that helps

The trein des merveilles goes from Nice to Breil sur Roya, via Sospel. It's a very scenic route and has a commentary for passengers at weekends.

Just use the following website: http://www.ter-sncf.com.
You can enter your departure and destination and approximate time of travel and it will give you a list of trains.
