They've been in Carrefour, Centres E. Leclerc and Géant for years now, to mention just three chains...

They have a brillian Halloween party for kids at the Stars n' Bars in Monaco each year. You need to book in advance - call early not to miss out. In the evening they have a Halloween party for adults - costume is a "must".yvonne

Yes, it is and it's become more popular each year since we arrived in 1997.

It won't be long before the disguises, ballons, ghosts and cobwebs start appearing in the supermarkets as well as in shops like "Decor et Fetes" and "Cash Decor".

On the lottisement across the road from us the parents organise a "trick or treat" round the houses (those with the outside lights on want to be scared, those without don't want to play). The phrase the kids need to know is "des bonbons ou un sort!"

Have fun

Sally

yes halloween is quiet a big affair here...

...luckily france (and peaceful europe), unlike the USA (I am refering to freedom fries and freedom kisses) we are not so petty that we would let our political interests damage our culture diversity...
