In Windsor UK there is an art dealer who specialises in only F1 and car art.  Could be worth looking him up.  Not sure of the details.  On the main street next to the castle.  Towards the long walk.

Just run the numbers to see if it'll be worth it - How many will your friend need to sell to earn from it.  How many sales can he make a month etc.

Yachts could be another avenue of oppurtunity.  Many people love yachting and boat art.  Especially the owners when you can see your pride and joy hanging up at the villa, on the boat, in your London apartment, in your little mansion in the country etc.... etc ..

A lot of the flash cars you see are owned by companies or are rented, and I cant imagine many people needing a painting of their company BMW. Someone who has an old E-type might appreciate a painting of it but I am not sure how many of those sort of cars there are down here.

Perhaps boats would be a better subject.  Lots of boat owners would appreciate a painting of their boat in some idyllic location (i.e with no other boats in view), and there are plenty of boats around.

Maybe in Cannes or Monaco where money talks and the car you drive is directly representational of the size of your wad. I think tourists would be interested. How about drawings of cars on the Croissette or outside Monte Carlo casino.

Just an idea

An artist with the nerve to display his/her work, talk it up, find the best places/venues to sell, find the right selling motifs and produce them, can always make a living on the cote dazur. Artistic talent is helpful but not necessary.Cars are not the right motif, perhaps in Stuttgart they are, but on the cote, better start drawing old buildings, oceans, portraits, lavander and sunflower fields, St. Paul de Vence scenes, and meditteranean idyllic houses. Its not a bad life.....good luck

I am not sure that it is a good idea as a business!

It might be a nice paying hobby but I wouldnt rely on it paying the rent.

Of course I might be wrong!
