Good news everyone - the nets are now in place as of this week, and look very new - happy swimming! :)

I saw two men on a small boat fishing them out of the water (along with the other detritus!) on Monday this week, so I don't think the nets can be in place.....

Thats the thing - a friend got stung pretty badly on his face last year and the scarring was quite bad. I used to do some swim training in the mornings behind the safety of the nets but I'm not that keen to do that now - I don't fancy a face full of jelly fish :) Although there are some hardy people out there in the mornings anyway!

I got stung good from a jellyfish last year. I am not a wimp about these things and kind of shrug them right off. But the scar stayed strong for 8 months!! Impressive little poison that guy gave out. I don't like those guys much.
