I've seen several tarantula spiders in the Parc Phoenix area of Nice!

I caught one in my mezzanine last week. As big as my hand (big hairy legs) (body was quite small) blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Biggest I've ever seen outside a zoo!

Put it outside in a tree.

I found a large spider in my shower this morning, a real ugly looking thing that is completely covered in tiny little spiders (I assume that it is giving birth). Its body is about the size of a prune with long (none hairy) tortoiseshell legs.

Certainly woke me up first thing!!!!!!!

Why get rid of them - they're good for the garden and for keeping the bugs down ! Arachnaphobia reigns OK !stgeorge
