Accountants in France are not qualified to offer this sort of advice, you need to go to a tax lawyer.

I can recomment Laurent Gravelle in Sophia, he will charge you about 180 euros for a consultation, and you will probably come away knowing what is best for you. Well worth getting this sorted properly...

Thanks, Bianca, for your email which I've responded to.
I've now checked the French CC site, it probably is the way to go if I can only fully understand what they're saying to me (good French, but not great). It seems that we can both operate under one Auto Entrepreneur regime if we opt for conjoint collaborateur, but it doesn't allow full social security cover one of us (no pension possibility).
Does anyone have any opinion re Auto Entrepreneur vs Micro Entreprise? And then which tax option to adopt, ie Regime de Base, Micro Fiscal or Micro Social?
