Switch off the filter for 2 or 3 days, let the sand settle somewhat and then profit from the rain and use that extra water above the skimmer level to suck up the settled sand and send it directly to waste rather than through the filter.

Floculent will sediment the suspended fine sand, but it risks clogging horribly your filtration (depends what sort of filters you have). I don't think there is an easy solution except just a week of tediously doing it yourself. I've got about a quarter of it out of my pool so far...
