Hi Jaaine,

We are expecting a shipment of some personal belongings from Cape Town and we used a company recommended by someone over there.  The company's name is Confreight Marine Line and the agent here is Confreight Mediterranee in Marseille.  Their phone number is 04 91 09 56 46, fax 04 91 09 56 40.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi, Pickfords goes to SA - we have used them for a small load and been very happy with the result (the local agent is Allied Arthur Pierre, see here: http://riviera.angloinfo.com/af/24/)

Some advice from experience: whoever you use, try ensure that your goods travel all the way with one single shipper. (Last time I thought "local was lekker" and supported a small SA firm who handed the goods to a UK firm who then failed to hand it all over to a mainland Europe firm, who never got to delivering quite everything... and no one would take responsibility!)
