If you are trading in France you need to have a registered presence in France and to pay business taxes on income generated in France.

Anthony,

Think about your options very carefully. And especially where you want or have to pay your taxes.

Many people run businesses and pay there taxes in their country of origin, if you wish too start a US based business I can help give you some advice. But I dont know much of anything about navigating the French system.

I suggest going straight to your local Chambre de Commerce. If your French is a bit iffy, you might want to take along someone to do your talking and listening.

The Chambres de Commerce exist to help people in this sort of area.
