Time between offer and signing compromis de vente

I've had a look on the info re buying a house in France. One question I have is how long will it take between having an offer an accepted on a house and having to sign the compromis de vente (and therefore needing 10% deposit)?

Thanks

Abbie

This normally happens VERY quickly. Once your offer is accepted, you would sign the compromis de vente the same day or within a couple of days as nothing is binding until the Compromis is signed.

However, you do have a 7 day cooling off period built into the Compromis and there should also be a clause re: financing ie: if you do not raise the money then you will received a full refund.

I may be able to help, feel free to mail me if you would like any info

Cheers
