I've tried to buy them fresh here and can't find them. I've looked in every major european city I've been to and have never seen them.

However, Casa Fiesta does sell them canned. Not the same as fresh, but if you need them to compliment a dish they are acceptable. Try any of the usual foreign food outlets.

Just the thought of them brings back memories of making 20 gallons of tomatillo salsa for a big party years ago....Mmmmmm
