Another suggestion, get a really good bottle of olive oil and put in it a chunk of truffle about the size of the last 3cms of your thumb, after a few short months you have truffle oil that goes v well on pasta dishes.

There are two truffle restaurants in Nice that you might want to contact: La Diamant Noir on rue Beaumont inland from the Port (Tram: Acropolis), and Terres de Truffes on rue Saint Francois de Paul (Tram: Opera).

Sure! Everything is for sale I suppose. Price is another matter entirely. Really I don't know what they are worth. If someone could recomment a chef who'd be interested that would be great. In total I have 10 and several are larger than a golf ball. Only one was opened to view the inside. They remain with the same soil on them in which they were found. They were found today. They are in a refrigerator now. What do you reckon?
