I have a 17 year old Philodendrom that I used to keep inside in the UK

I am wondering what peoples experiences are with plants like this outside in the Riviera ?

It depends, if you are in an area that is completely sheltered from frost (or not under 6deg) then you can leave it outdoors, otherwise if it's potted bring it in from November to March. I have a lot of hibiscus that were indoors, now living happily outside.
