Where do cruise liners dock in Cannes?

Does anyone know where the big cruise liners dock in Cannes?  I am meeting a friend on Sunday who is arriving on the Marco Polo, but I don't live in the area and don't know Cannes at all, let alone where to park etc etc.  Can one park anywhere near the ship and walk up to it? Any advice would be great. Thanks

Thank you both so much.  I tried e-mailing Orient Lines who didn't seem to know more than they were transported to shore by tender....!  At least I won't have to try walking the water and all that........!!!  You never know there might have been another miracle....!!  (other than me falling in the drink...!!)

The tenders dock in the old port, next to the Palais des Festivals,  It is well signposted, and there is a carpark underneath the Palais.

The steps of the Palais would be a good meeting place, unless you know exactly where the tender will dock.

Dont confuse the Palais steps with the steps of the casino next door!

The larger ships anchor offshore in the roadstead and the passengers are brought ashore by tender as far as I am aware, to a place just in front of the Palais de Festivale.

I doubt therefore if you'd be able to walk to the ship. Only one person in history has reportedly been able to perfom that feat and I am not sure that evidence exists to prove that this took place!
