Wow. That sounds like it could be perfect. I'm up and down Carnot all the time so that wouldn't present a problem. He's good with fades and no1 on the clippers?  ;)

heres a naive question... Is it typical to expect them to wash the hair?  It seems far more common here than what I'm used to.

I've been going to Laurent at the Barber Shop on Bd Carnot in Cannes for some years. He has a simple, traditional men's barber shop and speaks English well and is quick w/ a joke. I wouldn't go anywhere else really. He is near the Palais de Justice and the Fit Lane if you know where that is. The only drawback for you is the Carnot construction. You could park in parking Mozart under the Accor Suite hotel. If you know Cannes well try to take Republic to avoid Carnot for the time being. If you go tell him Tony sent you.
