Hi,

Like Legend in my Lunchtime, I am a fan too of homebirths. I had a homebirth 2 months ago with a bilingual midwife (the only midwife in o6 that does homebirths). It was fantastic. If you want her number, please email for details.

Hi

I had twins 5 months ago, and I loved my doctor, who also performed the emergency c-section.  He is based in Nice and is highly thought of by the people at Clinique Santa Maria/Lenval Hospital where I gave birth.

He does not speak English, but we got on well, and my French improved over the 7 1/2 months I was pregnant.  The hospital was also fantastic, and I should know I was in there for a month.

Don't ever think of going back to the UK to have a baby.  They are wonderful, professional, and kind here in France.

I now know two other pregnant people who are seeing my doctor, and they also rate him highly.  So if you are interested in his name call me on 04-93-03-52-81 Jane

Good Luck by the way!

and if you would be interested in meeting a French woman doctor, specialising in homeopathy and home birth I can make a very special  personal recommendation.

Home birth is not for everyone but when all conditions are right, it is a wonderful alternative to the highly institutionalised birth system in France - especially when you can have your personal ob/gyn doctor at your side in the comfort of your own home.

e-mail for details if interested.

Where are you located?  I had an excellent ob-gyn who also speaks English.
