I bought some brilliant, cheap and simple mesh curtains from Briconautes in the Plan de Grasse. They are so simple to put up: you just stick a strip of velcro-like tape (which comes with the kit) at the top of the door frame and then you simply "stick" the mesh to it. It then just hangs like a curtain and works perfectly. It also means you can just unhook the mesh really easily when the mosquito season's over. They come in white and in black - I find the black ones are almost invisible and don't spoil the view when looking out. Definitely a great system!

Leroy Merlin sells DIY kits, sliders or concertina type that look pretty good.
